Replace a supporting document

You can replace a supporting document if needed. For example, you want to make changes to the original file and upload the new version.

1. Select the document to replace

In the supporting documents panel, select the 3-dot menu next to the document you are replacing.

2. Select Replace from the drop-down menu

3. Replace your file

The Replace file panel appears. You can either:

  • drag and drop your supporting document into the panel
  • browse and locate the file within your computer’s file system. Select Upload file manually.

File format must be JPEG, JPG, TIFF, TIF, or PDF.

Once you have uploaded the file, the panel changes to a green tick with the file name below.

4. Select Add to replace the file

Once complete, a success message displays at the top right of the survey capture screen.

For some document types, the file will be converted to a black and white image. You will see a message advising you to view the file and check it looks correct.

The supporting documents panel will now show:

  • the new file name, if this differs from the original, under File name
  • the date and time the replacement was uploaded, under Last updated.
