Before you set up multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security when you log into Landonline.

You’ll be asked to authenticate your account with a one-time code the first time you log into Landonline for the day.

You can get one-time codes from:

• an authenticator app from Microsoft or Google
• SMS text messages
• a phone call.

We recommend using an authenticator app.

Set up an email address for MFA notifications

You need to set up a secure email address for receiving MFA notifications. 

You should be the only one to have access to this email.

Set your phone to automatically update

Your phone must be set to automatically update dates and times for MFA to work.

Android phone

Go to:

1. Settings
2. General Management
3. Date and Time
4. Automatic Date and Time.

IOS phone (Apple)

Go to:

1. Settings
2. General
3. Date and time
4. Set Automatically.
