Below is a list of functions we are still to develop for New Landonline.
All Landonline users
Firm/User Admin functionality will start to be released from April through to July 2025.
Firm/User Admin will be accessed from the main menu in Landonline and delivered in these stages:
- update details for firm and users, including contact details and setting your default roles (for example, Conveyancing Professional and Primary Contact)
- system manager view and edit individual privileges
- system manager view and edit group privileges
- notification preference for users and firms.
If you need to access administrative functions and no longer have access to Legacy Landonline, phone Customer Support on 0800 665 463.
Landonline Terms and Conditions are being updated to reflect any changes related to the Legacy Landonline switch off.
Web Search users
General search functions:
- View and order supporting documents for titles and instruments.
- Search title by instrument number
- Wildcards when searching for a title by registered owner
- Search supporting document: Approved form
- Search supporting document: Change of Trustee
- Add multiple products to Product list (comparable to Legacy’s Request Product List)
- Search Survey number by Surveyor
- Search Vector or Line by Feature ID
- Search for user details.
Spatial functions:
- Co-ordinate transformation
- Filter vector
- Display survey work.
Spatial layers:
- Land Districts layer
- Territorial Authorities layer
- Meshblocks layer.

Dealings users
Before end of February:
- Memorandum of Priority (MP) instrument.
- Add multiple titles to a dealing from Web Search results or a spreadsheet - comparable to Legacy’s option to undertake a search to populate a list of affected titles for a draft instrument.
- Support leases in Transfer’s Instrument mode.
- Deal with multiple titles with different ownership in Instrument mode (Transfer, Mortgage, and Change of Name).
- Insert party names in Instrument mode when there are multiple parties with different representation, to facilitate certifying and signing (Transmission, Transfer, Mortgage, Caveat and Change or Correction of Name).
Coming later:
- Quick add subdivision dealing templates.
- View linked requests from a dealing.
