Find out about current coordinate orders.
Until May 2010, New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 (NZGD2000) (https://linz.govt.nz/data/geodetic-system/datums-projections-and-heights/geodetic- datums/new-zealand-geodetic-datum-2000-nzgd2000) and Ross Sea Region Geodetic Datum 2000 (RSRGD2000) (https://linz.govt.nz/data/geodetic-system/datums- projections-and-heights/geodetic-datums/ross-sea-region-geodetic-datum) coordinates were described by a system of orders based on coordinate observation and the role the survey mark played in the geodetic control and cadastral survey networks.

Ross Sea Region Geodetic Datum 2000
- Orders 0 to 5 had different horizontal and vertical accuracy tolerances, while for Orders 6 to 10 the horizontal and vertical tolerances were the same.
- Orders 0 to 7 were survey accurate and were defined by the relative accuracy between marks.
- Order 6 was applied to Landonline survey accurate cadastral traverse, and order 7 was applied to Landonline survey accurate boundaries.
- The accuracy for orders 8 to 10 was indicative only.
- Orders 6 to 7 were not used for marks in the RSRGD2000.
This order scheme was replaced in 2010 by the Standard for the Geospatial Accuracy Framework (LINZS25005) and Standard for Tiers, Classes and Orders of LINZ Data (LINZS25006).
