Rules for Cadastral Survey 2010
To enable the 2010 Rules to be implemented the Orders for cadastral marks have been updated to reflect the new requirements.
LINZ has also published two accuracy standards, LINZS25005 and LINZS25006. These documents standardise the way LINZ describes coordinate accuracy and ensures consistency across different datasets. Find out more about coordinate accuracy.
The significant changes that affect cadastral marks are:
- re-numbering of Orders to reflect new survey Classes
- definition of maximum network accuracy value for each Order
- revision of maximum local accuracy values for each Order.
The new cadastral mark Orders and the changes from the previous system are summarised in the following table:
