Transmissions

About transmissions in New Landonline.

You can create 2 transmission types in New Landonline:

  • Executor/administrator
  • Survivorship.

You will need to use Legacy Landonline to:

  • create transmissions that are not Executor/administrator or Survivorship
  • attach images or documents to your transmission.

Features of the Prepare transmission page 

Transmissions page. Highlighted with numbers are features of the page. The features are discussed in the content below this image.
  1. Mode type. Select the mode you want to prepare your transmission in Title or Instrument mode.
  2. Transmission type. Select the grounds for the transmission from the drop-down menu.
  3. Date field. Enter the date the applicant became entitled to the estate or interest.
  4. Registered owners' section. Displays the name of each registered owner for the affected titles.
  5. Use the check boxes to select the deceased. Names may already be checked depending on the ownership structure of the affected title.
  6. Applicant's section. Enter the name or names of parties applying to have ownership registered in their name. Some transmission types have further fields to complete in this section.
  7. Additional Clauses, Conditions or intent free text box. Add information if needed to clarify the intent of the transmission.
  8. Summary tab. The tab automatically updates with key details entered on the left-hand side of the page. Resulting ownership will only show or update when the page is saved.
  9. Preview instrument button. Select this to open the instrument preview in a new tab. You can view, print or download the instrument preview here.
  10. Save buttons. Select Save to save the page and stay on it or Save and back to save it and return to the Instruments and Roles page.
