Features of the Transmission page
Below is a description of the features of the Transmission page.
- Mode type. Select the mode you want to prepare your transmission in, to reflect whether you are affecting titles or just interests in a registered instrument.
- Transmission type. Select the grounds for the transmission from the drop-down menu.
- Date field. Enter the date the applicant became entitled to the estate or interest.
- Registered owners' section. Displays the name of each registered owner for the affected titles.
- Use the check boxes to select the outgoing owners. For example, the deceased or a removed company. Names may already be checked depending on the ownership structure of the affected title.
- Applicant section. Enter the name or names of parties applying to have ownership registered in their name. Some transmission types have further fields to complete in this section.
- Additional Clauses, Conditions or intent free text box. Add information if needed to clarify the intent of the transmission.
- Attach image box. Drag and drop PDF attachments into the Attach image box or select browse to attach PDFs from your files.
9. Summary tab. The tab automatically updates with key details entered on the left-hand side of the page. Resulting ownership will only show or update when the page is saved.
10. Preview instrument button. Select this to open the instrument preview in a new tab. You can view, print or download the instrument preview here.
11. Save buttons. Select Save to save the page and stay on it or Save and back to save it and return to the Instruments and Roles page.
