Web search – find land records faster

Web Search is a taste of future Landonline and has many advantages you can use now. If you haven’t used it yet, give it a go! Web Search:

  • can be accessed from your web browser on any device
  • has the same log in as Legacy Landonline
  • is intuitive – offers potential results as you type
  • has multiple ways to search - via address, title reference, registered owner, visual map view using aerial imagery
  • doesn’t time out – you can stay logged in as long as you need.

We are continuously adding more functionality. Last month we added the ability to order multiple titles from the search results screen and to view statutory actions on parcels.

Amendment to the Greater Christchurch Regeneration Act 2016 Registration Matters Guideline 2018 – LINZG20785

Toitū Te Whenua LINZ has amended the guideline LINZG20785 to reflect changes to the Greater Christchurch Regeneration Act 2016 (the Act) made by the Greater Christchurch Regeneration Amendment Act 2020.

Our amendments on 30 June 2021 reflect a statutory extension of time for the exercise of land powers that enable Toitū Te Whenua to contribute to ongoing work on the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor.

Part of the Act was repealed on 30 June 2021. The remaining provisions will be repealed on either 30 June 2022 or 30 June 2023, or at an earlier date set by Order in Council.

You can find out more about the changes and read the amended Guideline on our website
