PC system hardware
PC system hardware should meet the minimum specifications demanded by the operating system and browser
Monitor
Monitor with a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 recommended
Printer
Printer compatible with operating system
Scanner
Scanner hardware and software that can produce black-and-white (1-bit), 150-300dpi TIFF images with CCITT Group 4 or Group 3 Fax compression
Landonline scanning requirements
Email address
You will require an email address to allow for product delivery and other notifications provided by LINZ.
LINZ recommends single-user email addresses over shared email addresses
Internet Connection
You will require access to the Internet via an ISP (Internet Service Provider). The type of Internet connection you choose will affect the performance (speed) that you experience for activities such as downloading image files and printing.
An Ultra Fast Broadband (UFB) connection (aka Fibre) is strongly recommended.
Firewall
If you are connecting to the Internet via a company firewall or proxy server, talk to your IT support staff or service provider to determine how access can be best achieved to our secure site.
