The Surveyor-General has issued a standard that specifies the requirements for the New Zealand survey control system (LINZG25704).

This guideline supports the standard by describing how Toitū Te Whenua Customer Services will maintain the national survey control system and provide information from it on behalf of the Surveyor-General.
