Overseas Investment’s Assessment report prepared for Kauri Forestry LP’s application for a standing consent to acquire interests in sensitive land for forestry purposes under the Overseas Investment Act 2005. Kauri Forestry LP was seeking a standing consent to acquire an interest in approximately 6000 hectares of sensitive land in various locations within New Zealand in up to 20 transactions. Assessed under the Investor test and Standing Consent (Forestry Activities) – s23A and cl 3 of Schedule 4.
