The Overseas Investment Office is further satisfied that the Applicants are of good character and are not an individual of the kind referred to in section 7(1) of the Immigration Act 1987.

Background to the Investment:
The Applicants are a married couple who wish to move from Australia to live and work in New Zealand indefinitely.

Andrew Hancock is a Senior Legal Officer with the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship. His wife, Eleanor Erakovic, is a professional dancer and teacher of dance in Canberra. The Applicants have sold their property in Australia with the intention of immigrating to New Zealand.
