Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) is seeking Registrations of Interest from suppliers to help manage its property portfolio.
On behalf of the Crown, at Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) manages approximately 8,000 properties spread across New Zealand, including 1,000 on behalf of other government agencies.
The property portfolio includes homes, commercial property, disused public buildings such as hospitals, prisons, and schools, as well as vacant land.
Sonya Wikitera, Head of Crown Property says LINZ is seeking an experienced and capable partner (or partners) to support the ongoing maintenance of these assets and the management of tenancies for our residential customers:
“We are also seeking to make more effective use of our property management data allowing us to make more informed planning and management decisions in relation to these assets,” she said.
On 22 July LINZ issued a request for Registrations of Interest (ROI)(link is external) on the Government’s procurement site GETS for the following tools and services:
- Property Asset Management Software (PAMS).
- Residential Tenancy Services (RTS).
- Facilities Maintenance Services (FMS).
Following evaluation of responses to the ROI a short-list of suppliers may be invited to tender for one or more of the opportunities listed.
Questions specific to this procurement will be managed via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS).
