How to view the transaction log for a dealing.

About the transaction log

The transaction log displays a record of key changes that have been made to a dealing and its instruments during the preparation of the dealing.

1: Select the dealing row to open the Dealing details panel

From your landing page, select anywhere on the dealing row to open its Dealing details panel.

Don’t select the instrument hyperlink as this will open the dealing for editing.

2: Select the Transaction Log tab

Select the Transaction Log tab to view the dealing log.

Features of the Transaction Log

Below is a description of the features of the Transaction Log.

  1. Date - This is the date of the change.  
  2. Time - This is the time that the change was made.  
  3. User ID - This is the Landonline ID for the person that actioned the change.  
  4. Description - This is the brief description of what changed in the dealing, such as an instrument was deleted or the certifications and signatures were cleared.

Types of transaction log descriptions

The transaction log captures the following actions.

  1. A new instrument was added to the dealing.
  2. An instrument has been deleted.  
  3. The affected titles in the dealing have changed.  
  4. A Conveyancing Profession in the dealing has changed.  
  5. The responsibility for fees has changed for an instrument.  
  6. The responsibility for release has changed for an instrument.  
  7. The submitting firm for the dealing has changed.  
  8. An instrument in the dealing has been signed.  
  9. An instrument in the dealing has had its pre-validations or certifications and signatures cleared.
  10. An instrument in the dealing has been released.
  11. The dealing was submitted.  
  12. The dealing has been queued for registration.
