What was proposed?
The proposal was to alter an existing name of a railway station along the new, underground twin railway line (City Rail Link) through the Auckland CBD.
- Maungawhau / Mount Eden Railway Station - at Eden Terrace, Auckland, redeveloped with a new main entrance at Ruru Street, and where the new City Rail Link tunnels connect to the North Auckland Line. NZTopo50 BA32 567184. Altering the existing unofficial name Mount Eden Station.

Mount Eden Station was altered to the official name Maungawhau Railway Station.
