The Surveyor-General has started his review of the Rules for Cadastral Survey 2010. The review will include a 3-stage consultative process with surveyors and other interested parties.
- Stage 1 included seeking feedback from surveyors on issues and opportunities they consider the Surveyor-General should consider.
- Stage 2 involved seeking feedback on proposed rule changes.
- Stage 3 involved seeking feedback on draft new rules.
As part of stage 1, an issues and opportunities paper was prepared which outlined issues identified from information received to date. The Surveyor-General was getting in contact with all relevant/interested stakeholders, including all licensed cadastral surveyors, seeking their feedback. Responses were due by 4 October 2017.
