A request for a copy of the proposal to alter Petone to Pito One was refused under section 9(2)(g)(ii) of the Official Information Act 1982. Withholding a copy of the proposal will maintain the effective conduct of the statutory process and protect the Board from any improper pressure until it has made its decision on whether or not to accept the proposal.
