Leaseholders and tenants  

We are providing support to tenants and lease holders of LINZ managed properties in cyclone impacted areas.

Advice to conveyancing professionals with clients affected by Cyclone Gabrielle

Due to travel issues and other significant disruptions in areas affected by Cyclone Gabrielle some practitioners may be unable to meet with new or existing clients in person to take conveyancing instructions.

In these situations, practitioners may meet with their clients remotely to take instructions and confirm the identity of their clients, following the guidance in clauses 5, 9.3 and 10.3 of the Authority and Identity Requirements for E-Dealing Guideline 2024.

We are providing geospatial support to response and recovery agencies, including the coordination of satellite and aerial imagery and LiDAR data.

Updated geospatial data, such as satellite data and aerial imagery is now available on the LINZ Data Service and LINZ Basemaps.
