How remote access works
The Remote Access tool is an application that allows our customer support to remotely view and control your computer screen when you phone us for help
We can only access your computer if you give us permission during a phone call. You can stop us using the tool at any time during your phone call.
We recommend you install the Remote Access tool before you call us.
Once installed, you should only use the Remote Access tool if you've been instructed to do so by a LINZ Customer Support Agent.
If you haven't preinstalled the Remote Access tool before calling us
If you have called us for help and you haven't preinstalled the Remote Access tool, you can download a one-time use support applet to allow remote access. It only takes a few minutes to download the applet while on the phone with our customer support.
