SNAP guidance

SNAP (Survey Network Adjustment Package) is a specialist software programme that is used when working with large or complex survey networks. It can perform a range of tasks including adjusting geodetic control marks, transforming between coordinate systems, and applying deformation models. This page includes guidance and examples to help people use this software.

The main application of SNAP (Survey Network Adjustment Package) is a least squares adjustment mathematical model, which is used to find the best fit of survey marks to observed data.
