This information is for people trying the Digitally visualised survey plans prototype. This tool exists to support the feedback period from August to October 2024 - surveyors still need to complete plan generation and submit plans with their survey during that time.

Creating a package in New Landonline

Instructions for how surveyors can create and share CSD and Title Components packages in New Landonline.

Create (compile) a package

Step 1. Open the CSD packages panel

In New Landonline, click the CSD Packages icon in the workflow toolbar.

Step 2. Click on Compile packages

Click on Compile packages at the bottom of the panel.

Depending on the type of dataset, CSD and Title Components packages will be created.

  • The CSD package is similar to a Record of Survey.
  • The Title Components package is similar to a Title Plan.

Download a package as a ZIP file and share

In the New Landonline CSD Packages panel, click on the 3 dots and select Download.

The downloaded packages create a ZIP file that will be saved to your device’s Download folder.

  • The CSD package contains an interactive spatial view for Survey and Title diagrams, panel information and supporting documents.
  • The Title Components package contains just the title plan information.

The name of the zipped file will appear in the following formats:

  • [plan reference]_CSD_[date compiled]_[file id]
  • [plan reference]_TitleComponents_[date compiled]_[file id]

For example:

  • LT567877_CSD_20231205_10153
  • LT567877_TitleComponents_20231205_10154

The ZIP files can be shared between parties related to the survey dataset (for example by email) - just like the current TIF files available from plan generation.
