Surveyors still need to complete plan generation and submit plans

Opening a package in the Survey Plan viewer

Instructions for how survey plan users (for example conveyancers, surveyors and their clients) can open a CSD or Title Components package.

Package contents

The CSD package contains:

  • an interactive spatial view for Survey and Title diagrams
  • panel information
  • supporting documents.

The Title Components package contains just the Title Plan information.

Open a package with a ZIP file

The downloaded CSD or Title Components package creates a ZIP file - see Creating a CSD package in New Landonline.

ZIP files can be:

  • opened in the Survey Plan viewer
  • shared between parties related to the survey dataset - just like the current TIF files available from plan generation.

Download sample ZIP files.

Step 1. Access the viewer

Access the Landonline Survey Plan viewer in your web browser.

Step 2. Open the ZIP file in the viewer

Either drag and drop the ZIP file into the area with a dashed grey border or click browse to open a file location window, to locate and open it.

Once the file has been dragged into the box area or opened, the viewer will open and display the CSD data.

Open a package with a link

A package can also be shared with a Landonline user via a URL link specific to each package.

Step 1. Click the link provided

If the user is:

  • logged into Landonline - the viewer will open
  • not logged into Landonline - the log in page will appear and after the user logs in the viewer will open.

Step 2. View and interact with the survey data in read-only mode

Download a copy

The viewer allows a user to download a ZIP file of the package. This ZIP file can then be shared with other people who do not have a Landonline licence, who are not enabled users or are not part of the same firm.

To download a copy, click on the 'Download a copy of this package' icon in the header of the viewer.

Share as a link

The viewer allows a user to copy and share a link to the package. This link can be shared with other people who have a Landonline licence and are enabled users or are part of the same firm as the dataset.

Note: Sharing is disabled for local files so the 'Share this package' button will be greyed out if you open the CSD package from a zip file.

A link will display below the icon with a 'Copy link' button.
