After you submit a dealing

Requisitions, rejections, refusals, messages and successful submits in New Landonline.

You must release all instruments before you can submit your dealing.

Once you've submitted a dealing, New Landonline sends a message and an email notification to your submitting firm's Primary Contact. This confirms the status of the dealing.

  • If a dealing status is Auto, a message and email is sent to confirm registration or rejection.
  • If a dealing status is Lodge, a message and email is sent when the dealing is updated to registered or rejected.
  • If a dealing is requisitioned, rejected or refused a message and email notification is sent.

Continue to access online messages in Legacy Landonline.

When you submit a dealing

When you submit your dealing Landonline will:

  • Auto-Register, Auto-Reject or Lodge with us for processing
  • display a list of fees to be charged to the submitting firm, including any additional fees such as new title fees
  • display a list of post-registration searches available for titles and certain instrument types in the dealing
  • update the dealing status on your landing page, or remove the dealing in the case of registered dealings
  • allocate a date and time of lodgement which informs order of registration
  • send Lodge dealings to the Lodged queue for us to process.

Automatically registered dealings

A dealing-registered page will appear if a dealing automatically registers.

The submitter will receive emails attaching the Notice of Registration and any post-registration search copies.

The Notice to Mortgagee will automatically get sent to the lender, if applicable.

When you select Back to your Dealings to return to your Landing page your dealing will no longer be in your work in progress.

Example of back to dealing button.

Automatically rejected dealings

If your dealing automatically rejects, a dealing-registered page will appear.

A new dealing is created in your Landing page with a reference to the original dealing. You can then correct the dealing and resubmit it.

The Primary Contact for the submitting firm will receive an email with a Notice of Reject attached.

Select Back to your Dealings to return to your Landing page or click the link to go to the new dealing.

Post-registration searches cancelled

Any post-registration searches are cancelled for the rejected dealing. Searches will need to be re-ordered when the replacement dealing is submitted.

Fees and rejected dealings

Fees are still charged for rejected dealings, but are then waived if you:

  • submit the new dealing within 40 days, and
  • submit a new dealing that's substantially the same as the rejected dealing.

You'll need to pay fees for each new instrument you add to the dealing.

Requisitioned dealings

If a dealing is requisitioned, its status changes from Lodged to Requisitioned.

You can edit the dealing from your Landing page, make the relevant changes to instruments and resubmit it.

The dealing keeps its original place in the queue, with the same date and time of lodgement.

Prior pending dealings

If a prior pending dealing is affecting the same titles, a dealing is queued depending on its status:

  • Auto - you can choose to queue the dealing. When the prior dealing is processed your new dealing will automatically go to registration. This depends on it passing the necessary checks.
  • Lodge - your dealing will be added to our internal work queue. It will be processed after the prior dealing has been processed.

Dealing has been queued or lodged

Dealing queued

If the dealing has been queued a page will appear saying your dealing has been queued.

Landonline will automatically progress registration of the dealing once prior dealings have been finalised. Then a Notice of Registration, Rejection or Requisition will be sent to the Primary Contact of the submitting firm.

Dealing lodged

If the dealing lodges a page will appear saying your dealing has been lodged.

Your dealing goes to our processing team who will put it in their work queue.

Fees will not be charged until the dealing is registered, rejected or refused.

Select Back to your Dealings to return to your Landing page. Your dealing will have a status of Lodged and cannot be opened or edited.

If your dealing then becomes requisitioned, the Primary Contact of the submitting firm will receive a Notice of Requisition by email. The dealing's status will change to Requisitioned. The dealing can be opened and edited and resubmitted.

Once the dealing has been processed, a Notice of Registration, Rejection or Refusal will be sent to the Primary Contact for the submitting firm.

Post-registration searches will be sent if the dealing is registered.

Successful submits

If the Submit is successful the dealing will be registered and will no longer appear on your Landing page, unless it is at Lodge status.
