The Property Data Management Framework is a conceptual model. It identifies five key aspects of a property, relates those aspects to digital data, and explains how to connect the data to form a unit of property, which is the fundamental core of the New Zealand Property Spine. The New Zealand Property Spine implements the framework.
This framework supports senior managers and technical practitioners responsible for property information in territorial authorities, central government, and the private sector.
Toitū Te Whenua updates the Property Data Management Framework regularly, adding new material, and responding to user feedback.
