Background | The Consent Holder was granted a residential standing consent under the non-residential use pathway. The standing consent permits the Consent Holder to acquire up to 75 hectares of residential (but not otherwise sensitive) land in up to 10 transactions with a maximum of 15 hectares per transaction by 1 December 2024. In this 6th transaction under the standing consent the Consent Holder acquired approximately 1.0664 hectares of land at 484 – 494A Madras Street, Christchurch to use to build and operate a supermarket. |
