Background | The Applicants are Chinese citizens who have applied for New Zealand Long Term Business Visas. The Applicants are engaged in the manufacturing and wholesaling of landscape sculptures in China, Singapore and the United States of America. The Applicants intend to migrate to New Zealand and reside indefinitely in New Zealand. They propose to establish a wholesaling and retail branch for their business in New Zealand, which will stock and sell products manufactured by their overseas companies. The Applicants intend that the land, which contains a residential dwelling, will be their primary residence in New Zealand. The overseas investment transaction has satisfied the criteria in section 16 of the Overseas Investment Act 2005. |
