We need people who are bold, unafraid to learn, try new things and get results. Plus, you can be proud to know you’re directly helping fellow New Zealanders connect to and protect our land, sea, and waterways. Sound intriguing? Read on!

We are time travellers! We have a rich history going back more than 150 years, and we are also a future-focused, data-led, agile team of experts and advisors. Our property rights systems are considered world-leading breaking the boundaries of how land title and survey information is accessed and used by the public.

Our open-license data underpins much of the infrastructure of New Zealand, powering:

  • environmental and climate change planning,
  • logistics planning,
  • construction and engineering works,
  • land management,
  • location-based apps,
  • marine mapping,
  • disaster recovery planning, and
  • archaeology.

Making a difference through agile, in-house software development on a global scale

When New Zealanders buy, sell, or alter property, they want to be certain about details such as location, size, boundaries, and that they’re buying from the current owner. All of this information is recorded in the ‘title’ for each property and held in our online platform Landonline. This underpins and informs much of the financial and banking systems our country’s economy relies on.

Landonline is a world-class system but, at 20 years old, it needs to be modernised. This will ensure it:

  • is future-proofed
  • integrates with modern software
  • includes new features and services
  • is focusing on our customer experience journey.

That’s where you come in!

Rather than outsourcing this project, we’re developing in-house to ensure Landonline is built right and managed sustainably into the future.
