This Official Information Act response provides Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand’s (LINZ) Assessment Report prepared for McDonald’s Restaurants (New Zealand) Limited’s residential land development application.
McDonald’s Restaurants (New Zealand) Limited applied for a one-off consent to acquire an interest in residential (but not otherwise) sensitive land under the non-residential use test, in accordance with s 16(1)(b)(i)(c) of the Overseas Investment Act 2005. McDonald’s Restaurants (New Zealand) Limited intends to construct and operate a new McDonald’s restaurant on the land.
