Crown Pastoral Land Strategic Intentions Document 2024-2029 and Performance Monitoring Framework 2024-2029

Toitū Te Whenua is committed to being an effective and transparent manager of Crown pastoral land, which encompasses around 1.2 million hectares stretching from Marlborough to Southland.

Our vision is that the Crown pastoral estate is managed to maintain or enhance its inherent values and support productive and sustainable pastoral farming.

Our Strategic Intentions Document and Performance Monitoring Framework for 2024-2029 set out strategies, initiatives and performance measures for how we manage this iconic land and how we will work with pastoral leaseholders, iwi, stakeholder groups and communities to make the right decisions and provide the most effective support.

We will prioritise transparent and accountable stewardship, strong and enduring relationships, and informed decision-making.
