The proposal is to change the name Abbots Creek to Abbotts Creek, for the stream that flows east from Remutaka Pass to Featherston, in south Wairarapa.

At its hui on 30 April 2024 the Board considered this report on the proposal, which is updated with the Board’s decision. The proposal is notified for one month so that the public can make submissions supporting or objecting to the name change.
