The trustees and settlor (Mr Andries Petrus Burger and Anna-Marie Burger) of the Applicant are South African citizens. Mr & Mrs Burger immigrated to New Zealand from South Africa in July 2010. Mr & Mrs Burger and their three children moved to New Zealand due to its lifestyle, beautiful scenery and environment in which to raise children.

Mr & Mrs Burger are residing in New Zealand under a Long Term Business Visa granted by Immigration New Zealand.

Mr & Mrs Burger were sheep and cattle farmers in South Africa. They wish to purchase the Investment to continue farming operations in New Zealand.

The overseas investment transaction has satisfied the criteria in section 16(1)(e)(i) of the Overseas Investment Act 2005.
