The Southern Positioning Augementation Network (SouthPAN) is a new free public service that makes GPS much more accurate. It improves accuracy from 5-10 metres to less than a metre, and sometimes as precise as 10 centimetres. This service helps New Zealand and Australia get better GPS positioning. Our communities and businesses can benefit from this improved accuracy. Discover more with our SouthPAN - benefits on a page.
