Reasons for decision

The Commissioner of Crown Lands has determined that granting consent to disturb soil to form the fence lines as requested will make it easier to use the land for farming purposes, and that any adverse effects on inherent values can be minimised through compliance with the conditions specified below.

Conditions of decision

Consent is granted for soil disturbance to form fence lines, subject to the following conditions:

  1. There shall be no benching or vegetation clearance to form the fence line.
  2. Areas of exposed soil shall be sown with grass as soon as possible.
  3. All machinery used in construction is to be thoroughly cleaned and free of weed seeds.
  4. All contractors and employees of Rees Valley Pastoral Lease are informed of the conditions of this consent prior to the soil disturbance works starting.
