The Commissioner for Crown Lands has determined the works are within the scope of the Minor Consents letter issued by the Commissioner in 1999 and that these activities were substantially underway before 17 November 2022.
A lessee who commenced any activity authorised by a consent given by the Commissioner by letter in 1999 and has not completed the activity before the commencement date may complete the activity, as if it were a permitted pastoral activity under Schedule 1AB, if they satisfy the Commissioner that they have made substantial progress towards completing the activity based on the consent requirements that existed at the time the activity commenced.
