Survey and Title processing times – May update

In late February, we advised stakeholders and Landonline users of delays processing survey and title transactions. Figures for April show Toitū Te Whenua is making good progress bringing survey and title transaction processing times to within 10 working days.

• The average title is processed in 11.2 working days, up from 10.8 last month but down from the peak of 14.9 working days in January 2022
• The average survey transaction is processed in 9.3 working days, compared to the peak of 23.1 working days in January 2022.

The increase in title transactions reflects demand towards the end of the financial year.

We remain on course to resolve most issues with processing times by the end of May 2022. You can check current processing times on Landonline. These are updated weekly.
